About
Community

We strive to deliver more value through dynamic partnerships with key community organizations. First, through deep and consistent financial support so our partners can invest and plan ahead. Second, by lending our team’s soft skills and problem-solving expertise to help them advance their own missions. And third, by leveraging our circle of influence to amplify the accomplishments of our non-profit partners and those they serve in order to generate greater support toward their missions.

Our four general areas of giving are:

  • Economic Impact
  • Youth and the Underserved
  • Arts and Education (with a specific focus on financial literacy)
  • General Community Support

We invest in the three counties that we serve: Androscoggin, Cumberland and Franklin.

Our goal is to have the greatest impact with these three categories of community partners:

  1. Empowering
This is the primary focus for the Bank as it seeks to deliver truly profound impacts on those with a limited voice or those seeking to overcome the challenges of racism, sexism and other prejudice.
  2. Sustaining
We support the traditional and long-standing local non-profits that provide for the general day-to-day welfare and well-being of the communities we serve.
  3. Enriching
We support organizations that are the safe keepers of the cultural aspects of our communities, celebrating and energizing the vibrancy of our communities and creating greater human connection.
