The grant is open to nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to at-risk youth, including mentoring and after-school programs, literacy initiatives, leadership development opportunities, mental health support, homelessness prevention efforts, and life-skills education. Former winners include, Full Plates Full Potential, The Root Cellar, The Locker Project, Auburn/Lewiston YMCA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine, My Place Teen Center and New Beginnings.
