Androscoggin Bank Announces Kate Rush as EVP & Chief Operating Officer

Androscoggin Bank has named Kate Rush as Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kate brings a wide breadth of experience in operations, technology, finance, and innovation, acquired through her multifaceted career in various industries, making her an excellent addition to our team.

Kate voiced her enthusiasm, saying, “I’m proud to join a company with a 150 years of experience serving the businesses and people of Maine.  Androscoggin Bank is building on that history as we focus on growth and I’m excited to be a part of that.  Further, as both a mutual and a benefit corporation, this company truly values people and clients and employees are at the forefront of every decision we make.”

Before her tenure with Androscoggin Bank, Kate held leadership positions at Tilson Technology Management and Bangor Savings Bank. She holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Hartford. Additionally, Kate is actively engaged in community service, serving on the board of Good Shepherd Food Bank, acting as a Trustee of the Maine Community College System, holding a membership in the Newport Town Council, and contributing to the Working Communities Challenge Steering Committee.

Kate resides in Newport and during her leisure time, enjoys time with her daughter, participating in Maine’s diverse outdoor activities, and assisting with her family’s farm. Androscoggin Bank is delighted to welcome Kate Rush as a valued member of our team.
